Lisa Castle graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama’s MA Advanced Theatre Practice course in 2009, where she specialised in devised performance.
Lisa has worked with puppetry company EmptyBox Theatre, the English Pocket Opera Company and :Delirium: amongst others, and has performed, directed, designed and devised her own work.
Recent roles include: Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing with Rooftop Theatre at The Inn on The Park, St Albans, Nina in The Seagull with Frank Theatre at The Barons Court, Puppeteer in the opera Hansel and Gretel (Goodenough College, Bloomsbury Festival), Narrator and Norman (operator) in Norman Shadowboxer (EmptyBox Theatre/C Venues, Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Andi in Your Nation Loves You (:Delirium:/The Old Vic; Old Vic Tunnels & Lyric Hammersmith) and Titania in a site-specific promenade performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cochrane Theatre). Other credits include: Heddie (Doll 1) in Dolls and Dollies (Boii Theatre/as a part of the HOME project), Ms Arnheim in Antagone (Alea Theatre/The Space) and Eugena in Eugena Un-der-Dressed, a performance installation at the Brighton Fringe Festival. She is also a member of the ensemble workshop project run by Rough Fiction.
